The Gateway Hotel is the home of our thriving original live music venue, The Small Ballroom. The hotel has accommodation consisting of double and family rooms, available to book for one night or a short break.
The Gateway Hotel is the oldest and leading LGBTQI venue in Newcastle and the Hunter. Over the last 140 years our Hotel has undergone many changes in appearance, name and clientele. Today we pride ourselves on being a Pub for every Novocastrian and we happily welcome travelling visitors from all over.
The Gateway Hotel offers two full-sized Bars and Nightclub, Accommodation, Outdoor space, Gaming machines and large rentable Function areas that will suit any occasion.
The Nightclub is open every Saturday night from 10:30pm with the latest trading licence in Newcastle and Newcastles best Dj’s. Every Saturday night there is Karaoke in the main bar from 9:30PM.
